The Mid-Worcestershire ring can be completed in a weekend’s boating however it is a strenuous route with quite a lot of locks, so if you want to give yourself more time to explore the attractions of Droitwich, the cathedral city of Worcester and the broad waters of the River Severn, then a four-night short break would probably suit you better.

Starting from our base at Stoke Prior, you’ll cruise south west to Worcester. Take some time to explore the impressive cathedral where the infamous ‘bad’ King John, villain of every Robin Hood tale is buried. This hugely impressive building dates back to 1084 and is well worth a visit to see the amazing architecture.

Just past Worcester you’ll join the River Severn up to Hayford Junction, before continuing your loop through Droitwich and back to the Stoke Prior hire base.
